Very well situated in Sligo for any shopping or night life venues. 5min walk from both. Rate this hotel very highly.
pleseant staff,comfortable beds.lovely breakfast.
The room had a few problems cracks around sockets ,bathroom tiling poor in places.noise from revellers early hours of the morning.a bit overpriced.
The location of the hotel was excellent, right beside shops, bars and restaurants. Staff were very friendly and service at breakfast was good.
Parking was limited.
Staff very friendly at reception...Hotel was very central to town centre.Parking was availble near by
Far too expensive....Room was very basic smell of toilet in room on entering it..Rails on window to keep curtains intact but when you pulled curtains both rails fell to ground...Very dangerous if children were in room.I did not complain to hotel staff as due to recent downfall in economy did not want to give hotel bad name.
Very good location for anyone using public transport and requiring convenient accommodation to the centre of the city
It was fine as central hotels go. It was clean enough and comfortable enough, but a lot of money for what it was. Though this was about as good a rate as you could get in Sligo itself, so it seems to just be the market rate. It's fine for basing yourself in while you travel around the area.
Central location and secure car park.
Decor out dated and curtains in room were a damp and a musty smell, disgusting.
i enjoyed the shopping and the pubs at night with the live music.the food was very good in the hotel.
i was very dissapointed with the hotel.the rooms were very small the bath was too short and the bathroom was in need of decoration the paint was flaking of the furniture and it was not clean.eg the was a ring of grime around the overflow in the sink. The staff on reception were not good at giving out information we wre not told what time breakfast would be severed at or where it was severed , nor did they tell us the hotel would be locked after 11.30pm while the night porter did his security checks. On check we were not asked if we enjoyed our stay or if everything was satisfactory for us.I would not stay in this hotel again nor would I recomend it to my friends.
good location, parking, reasonable room rate, helpful and friendly staff
bedroom decor was a bit tired looking, and would benefit from revamping.
Proximity to the event i was attending, friendly staff.
Nice enough hotel and good value.
Parking not great though. I was assured that in the week I would have no problem but when I turned up at 8pm the carpark and outside on the street was full. Luckily I was able to park a couple of streets away. Having to pay extra for internet access is not really acceptable these days.
Good location, friendly staff
Breakfast was a bit mean for 10 euro, was given a smoking room which i didnt want.
The staff stood out in all cases
The friendiness of the reception and night staff really stuck out for me! Also had a great sleep in a very comfy bed followed the next morning by a delicious breakfast! I would have no hesitation in recomending the sligo city hotel to anyone!
There was nothing I didnt like about the hotel!
There was nothing I liked in this hotel.
The room was ok. There were people talking on the corridors at 1am but I guess that's not the hotel's fault. The full irish and continental breakfasts were very expensive and not good value. The buffet only had canned fruit and white bread. There was no ham or cheese and to be honest the food didn't taste good. I only liked the cereals.
